Harpist Albuquerque area harpist Julietta Anne Rabens holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition with a minor in Piano Pedagogy, and a Master of Music in Harp. She has been teaching and performing harp and piano in a variety of contexts for over fifteen years. She has developed a curriculum of materials for teaching harp to adult beginners, "Classics at Your Fingertips" which is available through local and national distrubutors. Julietta teaches harp, piano, and composition at the New Mexico School of Music and at Apple Mountain Music in Albuquerque . Her experience as a teacher includes working as a mentor for gifted students and working with students who have special needs including Cerebral Palsy, mental retardation, high functioning autism, visual and hearing impairments.
