| Consolidated Plan 2006 Status
The State of New Mexico receives funds from the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a result, the
State must submit a five year planning document, known as the Consolidated
Plan for program years 2006 through 2010 for the following HUD funded
formula grants: the HOME Investment Partnership Program (including the
American Dream Downpayment Initiative), Emergency Shelter Grant Program
(ESG), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), and Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG). The MFA administers three of four programs.
Local Government Division administers the other (CDBG). MFA has assembled
the New Mexico Planning team to provide guidance and insight into housing
issues in New Mexico. However, we also need input from the public.
