TSS: ESG & State Funded Programs

The Transitional and Supportive Services Program (TSS): ESG & State funding provides assistance to units of local government or nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of existing emergency shelters, to help meet the costs of operating emergency shelters and of providing certain essential social services to homeless individuals, so that these persons have access not only to safe and sanitary shelter, but also to the supportive services and other kinds of assistance they need to improve their situations. The program is also intended to restrict the increase of homelessness through the funding of preventative programs and activities. Organizations may apply for TSS: ESG & State funding through a competitive RFP process.

The TSS: ESG & State Program is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the State of New Mexico, and is awarded to sub-recipients annually through a competitive request for proposal process.
