This section is for residents who live at a HUD Project-Based Section 8 property only. If you do not see the name of your property listed in the form (drop down menu) below please give us a call. The best way to contact us is to call our main number at 505.843.6880 or toll-free at 800.444.6880 and provide our operator with the name of your property and ask to speak with a member of the Asset Management Department.
Property owners and managers are required to provide decent, safe and affordable housing for their residents. In order to do their job well, the information they receive from residents about repairs or other health and safety needs on property is valuable. MFA supports the efforts of owners and managers. However, we realize there are times when resident concerns are not responded to by management. If you have information, questions or concerns about your housing, we encourage you to contact the on-site property manager or the manager’s supervisor so they can respond appropriately. If you have been in contact with management and they have not been responsive, then we want to hear from you. Please complete the form provided below.
Keep in mind if your concern or issue involves any of the following issues. MFA will not be able to provide assistance or otherwise take action for the following:
- Disputes involving third parties
- Lawsuits involving residents and the owner and/or management agent
- Interpretation of local laws and ordinances
