The New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority is one of eight organizations nationwide that have been awarded funds from a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development pilot program for veterans.
An infill project in Downtown Albuquerque has opened, providing 107 efficiency, one- and two-bedroom home to households with incomes at or below 30 to 60 percent of the area median income. Sterling Downtown was funded by Bernalillo County, the City of Albuquerque and MFA.
