Angel Reyes, left, was sworn in as chairman of MFA’s Board of Directors by Lt. Gov. Howie Morales at MFA's board retreat in August. Mr. Reyes replaces Dennis Burt, who served as board chair since 2011.
Mr. Reyes has been the president of Centinel Bank of Taos since 2003 and the bank's chief financial officer for five years prior to that. A Taos native, he graduated from the New Mexico Military Institute as the ranking cadet, completed undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico’s Anderson’s Schools of Management, and earned a graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado. Mr. Reyes has been a member of the MFA board since 2011. “I am excited about the future of MFA,” he said. “We have great things ahead.”
